Welcome to the Liu Lab at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign! We develop and apply autonomous multiscale optical imaging systems, large-scale quantitative bioimage analysis tools, and AI-enabled tools to study cancer across molecular, cellular, and tissue scales. By integrating label-free quantitative phase imaging, morphodynamic analysis, multiplexed fluorescence imaging, super-resolution microscopy, and spatial molecular profiling, we aim to translate advanced imaging technologies into practical tools for disease diagnosis, treatment-response assessment, risk stratification, and precision medicine.
